This is from one of the beaches south of the town of Kihei in Maui looking toward the west mountain. There are a series of beaches on this side all the way down to Wailea that are paint perfect locations.

"Lake Tahoe - Spring Pond"

This is a marsh and pond near Kings Beach in north Lake Tahoe. I've painted this scene on location several times, but this is work from a plein air painting this past Spring and reference photos. Directly across from the lake it used to be a dumping ground, but now has been restored to its pristine state. Very beautiful!

"Carmel Surf"
