I'm in Colorado this week, but wanted to post a painting I did a couple of weeks ago from the west shore of Lake tahoe. Most of the Aspens were already fading, but cottonwoods and willows had plenty of color still.

"Tahoe Vista Meadow" Hints of Autumn

This is a meadow up on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, just before you reach Kings Beach coming from Tahoe City. I have driven by this meadow and pond so many times saying I'm going to paint it. Finally did. Just starting to get Autumn colors up in the high country.
