Painting based on a smaller (6"x8") painting I did last week. This is from one of the iconic meadows in the Yosemite valley. Mostly brushwork on this particular painting. Just a few slashes with the palette knifes.

"West Shore Tahoe Creek - Autumn"

I painted this on a very cool morning in October on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. There were several good stands of Aspens, but this scene (I have the photos) was just perfect.
