I picked this pear from a abandoned orchard near a country road not far from my home. The only pears left on this tree were out of the reach of the many deer that roam these foothills.

"Twin Peaks - Lake Tahoe"

I have painted from this West shore of Lake Tahoe location several times. It's always a good place for hiking, biking, and painting ;-) The ski resort Alpine Meadows shares the mountain behind this view.
